” I’m pretty in-love with my vagina and hope expressing, showing and sharing that will help some other ladies to get to that place too.

To be honest and upfront with you though, there are times that I’m not 100% happy with what I have and experience what I term my Vagina-Envy.  Sometimes I do wish I had ‘more’ (Bigger inner labia, hood, clitoris etc) but I think we all feel like we’d like to change something in regards to our physicality from time to time – irrespective of whether you’re a guy or gal.

This feeling is, to quote the Cookie Monster, a “sometimes food” and mostly I just totally and unabashedly dig my vagina.”

“I love my cunt, I do, but it has been a learning curve. It’s hard to show pictures of it to the general public (even if anonymous), because it’s too easy to look at yourself through some very judgmental eyes. For instance, I debated with myself whether I should submit the picture to the far left, because I find my outer labia to be too wrinkly. Isn’t that a strange thing to think about? I’ve never heard a guy say that he thinks his balls are too wrinkly, but then again, guys aren’t socialized to think it’s ok to talk about themselves in that way. For all I know, they do have the same concerns and being part of a project like this gives me hope that genital self-hating and self-doubt will eventually become part of the past for all sexes. And the more I look at the picture, the more I begin to like and appreciate it. P.S. Don’t you find that the last picture on the right looks like the Virgin Mary?”

Those are beautiful photos from both people.

I just want to say to the second person that “wrinkled” outer labia is beautiful, I think, as it indicates a certain softness of skin. It’s also entirely natural – I’ve seen a LOT of labia and I have to say that I’ve seen a lot more “wrinkles” than that – and always they are beautiful.

That’s a nice comment and I’m sure it will be appreciated. They really are beautiful pictures.

By the way, I really dig the self-portraits you’ve been taking. Especially the Mermaid series! Totally inspiring and makes me wish I could afford a new camera. My Canon is going on the fritz.

Well thank you! My camera is largely to thank for the goodness of the photos… tis a Canon 50D, took awhile to save (though tax refunds help!) for but it’s totally worth it!

While we’re at it, I should probably tell you how much I’m enjoying your blog and this new, awesome project. I’m not one to comment often but I’m always keeping an eye on posts here, so thanks for helping contribute to a more pussy-positive world! ;)

Sure, a good camera helps, but you’ve got an eye for what looks good, and you’ve got some great ideas, which is what makes them so interesting, as opposed to just “I have a good camera” kind of thing.

Thanks for the awesome feedback, it feels great to know that people are out there reading and supporting the idea of this blog.

What it does reveal is the reservation some women have about their vagina! There is no “perfect” shape as far as I’m concerned, our vaginas are as individual as we are.
Another thing, why do we feel so reluctant to let others see our cunts? Yes, it’s probably the most intimate part of our anatomy, but in my experience, guys are far more open about their cocks, and those are no MORE intimate than our cunts.

It’s part of the socializing that we go through as women. I remember one day, when I was about 12 years old and I was lying on the couch watching TV, my legs were spread apart (I was wearing pants) and my Mom told me not to do that. Probably the first time I was taught that I had to keep that part of me hidden and private. When you’re a kid, nudity is not such a bad thing, but then when you hit a certain age, girls are told to cover themselves up and boys continue to be OK with their nudity. Just think of showers in gym class or other similar thing. Boys are just thrown in together, while girls are separated at that point.

I realize that this is an older post but I would like to add that it is very nice of you to share these images. I don’t mean this to sound rude, but then again the site is called Cuntlove, I think you have a beautiful cunt and sometimes they look like Madonna (not the singer). Maybe that is one of the beautiful things about a cunt, they don’t look the same every time. My wife’s lips hang long and beautiful they are not hidden like the (but still pretty) “camel toe” type.

They are all beautiful and I would like to see all of them.

I think that is one of the main reasons why images like these are important, because “they don’t look the same every time” and “they are all beautiful”. That is a lesson a lot of people need to learn and it is very important for people to voice that truth.

whatever subject you bring up about the world, the most important thing in the world is what a woman has between her legs

Olga, in response to a previous comment you made: In my high school gym classes we shower in clear visibility of each other without curtains or anything. Yes, communal showers. And, I have to say, I’ve become much less self conscious and more confident from this experience. I don’t bother trying to do some kind of tango where as I’m changing my clothes anyone in the locker room can hardly see my skin. I get stark naked, towel off!, before I even start to get my other set of clothes on. Sometimes I comb my hair naked before I get dressed. The best part? Everyone is so used to it that it hardly phases anyone. It’s great.

I know this is probably atypical of high school gym classes but my school was pretty liberal. We had a school-based health center in contact with the local hospital, and the school’s doctor is vegan. It has a Global Awareness Club, an Alternative Energy Club, and an LGBT Youth Alliance. A friend of mine, Joanna from St. Francis Farm, is a public speaker who regularly visists the school to talk about the deceptive tactics of military recruiters, and about sexual harrassment, “affluenza”, and political apathy. The Global History course syllabus included discusion of the atheist philosiphers of ancient Greece and Chinese Taoism, as well as a unit on all of the worlds major religions, including a positive look at Islam aside from the radical extremist roots. I was able to make abstract paintings of nude pregnant women and Hannah was able to make a painting of a fetus in my art class. A friend of mine made a sculpture out of a plaster cast of her upper body from neck to hip. No, the sculpture was not depicted as wearing any clothes. This was in high school! She wasn’t legally allowed to showcase it because she was still a minor, but the clay/pottery teacher allowed her to make it. In a rural area in upstate NY, this was all able to happen. I just hope the school continues to progress and doesn’t regress into how the rest of my country’s schooling system is.

From my point of view, the beauty of a cunt is not primarily visual. Such an approach is a bit like asking someone to appreciate the beauty of, say, a Beethoven sonata by looking at the score.

For me cunt beauty is a matter of touch and response. The lovely feel of the cunt cleft when the lips are closed. The tender and yielding fashion with which they open, whether to a kiss, or to the touch of fingers. Then the warmth within, the delicate fronds of flesh, the gradual melting. What it feels like for a tongue tip move slowly up from vagina to clit. The way the little bud emerges so shyly, and the engorging of the lips, the folds, the whole cunt.

When my mouth moves over the whole of its loveliness, and my tongue presses harder, and starts to move rhythimically, slowly to start with, then gradually faster and faster. Ah the beauty then! The pressing up to me. The widening of the thighs, the scent, the juice, the rapture.

That – that is the beauty of the cunt for me
